Viva Las.......Memphis?

I was in Memphis a few days and loved it. I wouldn't say it was one thing in particular but it just seemed to have the right mix of things to do. I would go back there in a second, it has a great mix of culture in the form of Elvis and a lot of African-American history, cool nightlife, and a few quirky extras.

Here's a run down of the stuff that put Memphis as one of my top coolest places to visit:

- Elvis, is there a more interesting musical icon in history? Visit his home, Graceland, see where he bought his cars and made his music.

- Beale Street, a street full of cool clubs which pay homage to the African-American culture, in particular BB Kings for a great night of dinner and blues music.

- Cool bars and clubs, including open mic nights, and $10 all the beer you can drink!

- The Peabody where twice a day ducks macrh through the hotel lobby, yes ducks!

Possibly the greatest strip club in America, the girls here are all stunners. I'm not exactly sure what it is called or where it is, but a New Zealand bouncer gave us the tip, so we piled six in a cab and headed there for a great night. Find it if thats your thing.
